We designed the 422-25AL RS232 to RS422 protocol converter to provide error free full-duplex data communication utilizing the standard 2 pair RS422 differential signal protocol.
RS422 is a high-speed long-distance "drop-in" replacement for many RS232 applications. Distances in excess of 4000 feet are easily attained with the 422-25A data converter. Now you can remotely place your RS232 peripherals with ease and low cost.
These interface drivers conveniently plug into the DB25 connector commonly found on the standard IBM-PC.
The 422-25AL can operate for both DTE and DCE configurations with the possible addition of a NULL modem converter for certain DCE applications.
